Crew 75 to Host Special AAMU 150 Pop-Up During Homecoming Weekend

As Alabama A&M University celebrates its 150th Anniversary, the award-winning Crew 75 student content team is taking Bulldog pride to the next level with a special #AAMU150 Pop-Up experience during Homecoming weekend. The activation, located just north of the Gameday Vendors Plaza, will invite alumni and supporters to join the historic #AAMU150 campaign, which is fueling scholarships, campus improvements, and more.

The pop-up will run Friday from 10:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., giving visitors an opportunity to give back, share their AAMU stories, and be part of the sesquicentennial legacy. Crew 75 members will be on-site capturing photos, interviews, and special moments as part of the University’s archive of this milestone year.

To date, more than 5,000 individual donors have contributed to the record-setting campaign, which continues through December 31. The Crew 75 team hopes to inspire 1,000 new donors during Homecoming weekend alone.

Team Lead Trinity Shipman, a senior from Nashville, Tennessee, said the effort is about visibility and impact:

“Our role is all about growing support for Alabama A&M University by growing visibility of the brand and the University’s message,” Shipman said. “This is a cool opportunity for us to have face-to-face time with alumni and donors to share why their support is so important to students like us.”

At the activation, supporters will also have access to giveaways after making on-the-spot donations of any amount. More information on the #AAMU150 campaign is available at www.aamu.edu/150.
