He and his wife of nearly 45 years, the former Lila Morgan, built a legacy rooted in faith, family and service. He is survived by his beloved wife, four children, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 28, at noon at Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 2135 Jefferson Ave. SW, Birmingham, Alabama 35211.
