Create Resumes
A resume is your marketing tool that highlights your education, work experience and skills. Resumes are used when pursuing an internship, a co-op, career opportunity, scholarship, admission to graduate school, and other opportunities.
Federal Resume vs. Traditional Resume
The federal government is a major employer that hires students from all majors. A federal resume includes the same content as a traditional resume, but goes into much more depth about your skills, past duties and accomplishments. Federal resumes can be multiple pages. Most federal employers post their jobs in USAjobs.gov. Learn how to write a strong federal resume by participating in federal Virtual Workshops.

PREPARE
A job interview is your opportunity to show an employer who you are beyond your resume. It’s a chance to highlight your skills, share your experiences, and demonstrate how you can contribute to the organization. For college students, interviews also let you showcase your potential, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn, even if you don’t have years of experience.
